The Fight

The time has come,
The time is now
I will not go home
'til I vanquish the evil dragon Palinal

I draw my sword,
he takes in breath
And I sing a song,
to the dragon's death

'Oh, Dragon you're strong,
Oh, dragon you're bold,
But soon you shall fall,
to the blade I call Caladbolg!!'

But soon enough he blows out fire
to his dismay, do I retire,
behind a rock, so as not to be,
as dead as a poor, stepped on flea.

A second not do I waste,
to turn and stare him, face to face.
In half a second's haste,
I form a plan to turn him into a dragon-like paste

I parry, and duck, and dodge all about,
waiting for the moment to carry my plan out
